A 360° digital view of Canonsleigh Abbey is now available online. It shows the surviving remains of this former Augustinian abbey and the landscape that surrounds it.

Founded in the 12th century, Canonsleigh Abbey was once an important religious house in Devon. Although most of the abbey buildings were dismantled after the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 16th century, parts of the site still survive. These include sections of standing masonry, earthworks, and features such as fishponds that reflect how the abbey once functioned.

The digital resource provides panoramic images of the site as it exists today. It helps users understand both the layout of the abbey and its setting within the wider countryside, offering insight into how the community lived and worked in this rural landscape.
